About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and establish rapport to provide a welcoming resort experience
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs for reservations
- Field resort comments, suggestions, and complaints to the Resort Manager
- Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, typing, copying, and filing
- Complete and maintain accurate resort records, reports, and files
- Prepare and distribute resort communications such as newsletters and rule reminders
- Manage office supply inventory and prepare orders as needed
- Assist with the preparation of marketing materials
Requirements
- Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet usage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Approachable demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent guest service
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Availability for flexible scheduling based on guest occupancy and seasonality
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior administrative experience
- Previous experience working in a resort office or property front desk
