Guest Services Agent

Responsibilities

• Welcome, register, and orient guests in a friendly and positive manner
• Manage individual and group reservations via telephone, email, and online systems
• Execute guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently
• Assist guests with inquiries, arrangements, and issue resolution
• Maintain the security and safety of the Inn, guests, and property
• Accurately maintain shift reports, logs, and daily paperwork, including cash transactions
• Provide overnight, on-call assistance in the event of emergencies
• Represent The Inn in a professional manner to all guests and callers

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven customer service experience
• Experience handling cash and recording sales transactions
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Strong oral communication and organizational skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during conflicts or emergencies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality or hotel environment
• Computer literacy with familiarity in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PMS, or POS systems
• First Aid and CPR certification
