About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary source of information for guests, providing concierge services according to shift schedules
- Process onboard sales transactions and operate the phone switchboard, cashless system, and safety system
- Plan and execute embarkation, disembarkation, and check-in/out procedures
- Maintain daily logbooks and guest manifests, handle guest complaints, and prepare guest lists and invitations
- Coordinate guest travel arrangements and assist with shore excursions
- Ensure the smooth operation of the guest infotainment system
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a Front Office department or similar within a 5-star hospitality or restaurant environment
- High school diploma required
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card)
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and perform extensive walking
- Ability to work 10-week rotations on the ship followed by 4 weeks of vacation
- Fully vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus/Diphtheria, and Hepatitis A and B
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
Preferred Qualifications
- Shipboard experience
- Degree with a focus on hospitality
