About the role
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and provide introductory information
- Serve as the first point of contact for site and client inquiries via email or phone
- Manage guest room allocation and issue room keys/cards
- Oversee the check-in and check-out process
- Maintain accurate database entries for room bookings and payments
- Provide information regarding camp rules and policies
- Assist with reviewing safety documents, timesheets, and maintenance paperwork
- Complete reports using MS Excel and documentation in MS Word
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality or Business Administration
- Minimum 1 year of hotel guest service or administrative experience
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a remote lodge setting
- Minimum 1 year of accounting experience (LEMS, receiving reports, work orders, payroll data entry)
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite and Property Management software
- Ability to pass the mandatory WHMIS test with a score of 80% or higher
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Logistiks software
