Guest Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for patients, families, visitors, and staff
• Manage facility access by screening and badging individuals entering the building
• Provide clear directions and assistance to ensure a positive visitor experience
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment
• Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols consistently
• Remain calm and professional during high-stress or emotionally sensitive situations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of two years of customer service experience
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn hospital systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work assigned shifts, including holidays (Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of customer service experience
• Experience in a hospital, healthcare, or pediatric environment
• Prior experience with visitor management or access control systems
• Experience in a fast-paced, public-facing role
• Bilingual abilities
