Guest Service Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service, including greetings and transaction handling
• Sell daily admissions, memberships, and other zoo items
• Maintain proper cash handling protocols and prepare daily bank deposits
• Utilize the Accesso Ticketing System for sales and data entry
• Assist with various locations including ticket sales, membership recruitment, and operating the Wild Animal carousel or Wilderness Express train
• Educate guests about zoo activities, programs, and exhibits

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or currently seeking)
• General guest or customer service experience
• Basic cash handling knowledge
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift or move items up to 25–30 lbs
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
