About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide upscale guest service experiences for clients throughout their stay
- Be a continual source of information, help and assistance to all guests
- Monitor daily bookings and ensure assigned rooms are prepared prior to check-in
- Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, including reservations and financial transactions
- Actively listen to and resolve complaints
- Coordinate and manage communication between guests and staff
- Manage guest relations team
- Analyze customer feedback and suggest ways to improve ratings
- Recommend local tourist spots, including places to dine, shop and sight-see
- Establish friendly relationships with clients
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience as Guest Relations Manager in a Hotel or Vacation Homes setup
- Understanding of hotel/Holiday Home management best practices and relevant laws
- Hands-on experience with Hotel Management software
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or relevant field
- Familiarity with Dubai areas and tourism spots
