Guest Experience Associate T2

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and patrons warmly, responding to inquiries in person and over the phone.
• Monitor assigned areas, including the gym, ice rink, basketball court, and fitness center, to ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Process Point of Sale (POS) transactions, manage visitor check-ins, and register participants in recreation programs.
• Communicate maintenance, housekeeping, or security issues to supervisors via two-way radio or in person.
• Inspect equipment, note maintenance needs, and perform cleaning or setup/teardown of recreation equipment.
• Execute Emergency Action Plan (EAP) procedures and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
• Perform facility tasks such as ice cuts, skate sharpening, and assisting with concessions or membership processing.
• Assist as a certified Lifeguard when required (certification provided by the center).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling.
• Knowledge of Vagaro or Rectrac software.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for prolonged periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a recreation or fitness center environment.
• Previous experience with membership processing or facility management software.
