About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist guests with arrival and departure while providing positive experiences
  • Complete registration processes and input information into the computer system
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure exceptional guest service
  • Communicate guest requests, amenities, and special information to relevant personnel
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions and process guest accounts accurately
  • Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly
  • Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features, services, and room rates
  • Answer telephones with clear communication and manage messages
  • Follow hotel safety policies and maintain a clean work area

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions
  • Command of the English language (written and verbal)
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for 75% or more of the shift
  • Availability to work flexible schedules including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree
  • Previous hotel Front Desk experience
  • Previous Hyatt brand experience
