GTM Strategic Partnership Lead, Compute

Odyssey is an AI lab pioneering general world models: causal, multimodal systems that learn to predict and interact with the world over long horizons. The team consists of world-class researchers from DeepMind, Tesla, Waymo, Meta, Apple, and Wayve.

Responsibilities

• Own hyperscaler relationships commercially and technically, building co-sell motions and driving marketplace ARR.
• Define compute strategy by tracking utilization, model cost-per-FLOP, and hardware roadmaps.
• Work with Solutions Architects and infrastructure teams to scope and deploy compute at scale.
• Act as an external closer for cloud-partnered deals, pitching directly to enterprise buyers.
• Drive chip manufacturing relationships and stay ahead of next-generation architectures.
• Coordinate cross-functionally across Research, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
• Design operational processes, playbooks, and metrics to manage partnerships at scale.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and monthly operational reviews with partner leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years in strategic partnerships, BD, or partner sales in cloud infrastructure, AI, or developer platforms.
• Proven track record of closing large deals and building co-selling motions with major hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong understanding of compute economics, utilization modeling, and procurement strategy.
• Technical fluency capable of engaging with Solutions Architects and ML infrastructure engineers.
• Experience working in early-stage companies and building processes from scratch.
• Ability to travel significantly across North America, Europe, and APAC.
• Based in Palo Alto or willing to relocate.
