Exa is building a search engine for the AI era. Our Search API currently powers Agents, Fortune 500s and AI labs as we transform an industry that hasn’t been disrupted since the 90s. We're a largely SF-based team of ~100 from Harvard, MIT, Meta, Google Research, ex-founders & dropouts alike.
Responsibilities
- Own the GTM recruiting cycle end-to-end: sourcing, outreach, interviews, and closing
- Represent Exa externally and convince top-tier account executives, marketers, and business development folks to join
- Partner with founders and team leads to scope roles and identify high-leverage hires
- Build and optimize recruiting systems and workflows using Exa’s in-house agentic search tools
- Experiment with creative sourcing strategies to stand out in the competitive SF startup market
- Help shape Exa’s talent brand and recruiting culture as we scale hyperspeed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience recruiting for GTM roles in startups or high-growth tech companies
- Familiarity with SF startup culture
- Strong communication skills and ability to sell a big vision
- Builder mindset for designing recruiting systems
- Comfort in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment
- Technical literacy to communicate engineering projects to candidates
