GTM Partnerships Manager, SME & Growth, Japan

Responsibilities

• Acquire and manage relationships with Airwallex ambassadors and strategic partners within the corporate secretary, e-commerce, accounting, and startup sectors.
• Manage the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including prospecting, meetings, contracting, integration, onboarding, and ongoing activation.
• Drive revenue growth by overachieving targets through client referrals generated from your partner network.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as legal, strategy, operations, and finance to ensure a seamless partner experience.
• Maintain long-term engagement with partners to build lasting, mutually beneficial relationships.
• Propose new ideas and initiatives to senior stakeholders to strengthen the partner ecosystem in Japan.

Requirements

• 3+ years of B2B experience managing and growing technology or Fintech relationships with SME accounts.
• Professional fluency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven ability in negotiation and the development of partnership proposals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a fast-growing fintech, SaaS, or payments company.
• A proven track record of launching or expanding a business into a new market or vertical.
• An existing professional network or strong relationships with referral partners in accounting, technology, e-commerce, or startups.
