GSE Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
• Inspect, test, and operate GSE to determine serviceability and proper operation
• Service equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air
• Disassemble, repair, clean, and reinstall GSE components and accessories
• Use automated maintenance data systems to maintain equipment records and document actions
• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with environmental standards
• Maintain vehicle records and provide dispatch services for GSE to support aircraft operations
• Practice strict tool control, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention, and safety protocols

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• U.S. Citizen
• 2 years of recent experience working on Automotive/Mobile Equipment or appropriate training in inspection, maintenance, and repair
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass and maintain a Security/SCI Clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Common Access Card (CAC)
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding)

• Basic knowledge of maintenance repairs on a variety of equipment
