Growth Manager, Verticalization & Startups GM

About the Company

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies. We hire people with high agency and high urgency who own problems end to end.

Responsibilities

• Own the startup segment P&L, including acquisition, product strategy, onboarding, pricing, and positioning.
• Drive acquisition through community engagement, events, accelerator partnerships, and programmatic SEO.
• Define the product strategy and day-zero experience for new founders.
• Optimize the onboarding funnel from incorporation to funded card.
• Design pricing and incentive structures to make Ramp the default choice for new companies.
• Act as the face of Ramp within the startup community, attending demo days and founder events.
• Own the core metric of capturing 90%+ of newly incorporated US startups.

Requirements

• Experience starting a company or operating at a founding-team level in an early startup.
• Deeply embedded in the startup community (accelerators, angels, founder networks).
• 5+ years in founding, growth, GTM, or general management roles.
• Strong P&L instinct and ability to make cross-functional tradeoffs.
• Demonstrable AI fluency in professional workflows.
• Sharp written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with YC, Techstars, Neo, or similar programs.
• Existing audience or following within the founder community.
• Experience building AI tools or agents.
• Background in fintech, banking, or developer-led product distribution.
• Experience with angel investing or advising early companies.
