About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow trusted relationships with key clients and decision-makers in banks and financial institutions
- Drive repeat transactions, minimize churn, and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
- Act as the primary link of communication between key customers and internal product/technical teams
- Gather and decipher client requirements to suggest solution implementations that improve existing processes
- Manage high-level engagements, including monthly business reviews and governance documentation
- Prepare regular progress reports and forecasts using key account metrics
- Ensure timely receipt of payments against invoices and maintain detailed competition mapping
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development or Enterprise Key Account Management (KAM)
- Proven experience in platform sales (SaaS, Fintech, Payment Gateways, or Rating Agencies)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience managing technical proposals
- Ability to manage multiple high-level relationships simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong track record of delivering targets and working effectively under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or PGDM from a premier institution
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
