About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute acquisition and activation strategies for SMB advertisers on OpenAI's advertising platform
- Diagnose the advertiser funnel across awareness, landing pages, sign-up, onboarding, and campaign creation
- Own SMB acquisition strategy across paid, organic search, social, partnerships, and product-led growth channels
- Partner with Product and Engineering to improve sign-up flows, onboarding, and billing experiences
- Translate SMB customer insights into positioning, messaging, and product feedback
- Use AI tools to accelerate experimentation, analysis, and campaign development
- Build operating rhythms for experiment planning and performance readouts
Requirements
- Significant experience in growth marketing, product growth, performance marketing, or SMB go-to-market roles
- Proven track record of improving self-serve, product-led, or high-volume customer funnels
- Highly analytical with expertise in funnel analysis, cohort analysis, and experimentation
- Strong product instincts to partner with Engineering and Data Science teams
- AI-native workflow approach using tools to generate leverage and prototype ideas
- Experience growing advertisers or merchants through scaled platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, or Shopify
- Deep understanding of advertiser acquisition, CAC, LTV, and retention metrics
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
