Growth Engineer

Responsibilities

• Scale the Bounce marketplace by building systems and product experiences that drive user acquisition, activation, and conversion
• Take ownership of customer problems and turn them into simple, delightful experiences across both backend and frontend
• Run A/B tests, analyze user behavior, and continuously improve conversion funnels and growth loops through rapid experimentation
• Collaborate with global teams to support new product innovations and business initiatives
• Write high-quality code for mobile and web applications using Elixir, React Native, Expo, React, NextJS, and Typescript
• Maintain and improve existing code and architecture in a fast-paced production environment

Requirements

• Experience developing and shipping code for production systems
• Proficiency in one or more of the following: Javascript, Typescript, Elixir, or Ruby
• Experience with frontend technologies including React, React Native, or CSS
• Proven experience in building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit/integration testing
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to work as a generalist who can own a feature from concept to production
