About the role
Responsibilities
- Convert inbound MQLs into paying customers through timely follow-ups and lead qualification
- Conduct high-quality product demos that clearly articulate Wati's value proposition to cross-border SMBs
- Manage the full sales funnel, including proposals, negotiations, and contract signing
- Maintain accurate customer data and opportunity status within the CRM
- Represent Wati at industry exhibitions, e-commerce summits, and ecosystem events to prospect new business
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide frontline market feedback and refine positioning
Requirements
- 2–5 years of B2B SaaS or tech sales experience with hands-on experience driving sales through demos
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot or similar systems
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to manage a sales pipeline independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build sincere, empathetic customer relationships
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to cross-border e-commerce, overseas marketing, or SaaS sectors
- Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API, Meta’s advertising ecosystem, or omnichannel communication
- Experience leading industry events or customer roadshows
- Understanding of the business pain points for Chinese companies expanding into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, or Europe
