About the role

Responsibilities

  • Convert inbound MQLs into paying customers through timely follow-ups and lead qualification
  • Conduct high-quality product demos that clearly articulate Wati's value proposition to cross-border SMBs
  • Manage the full sales funnel, including proposals, negotiations, and contract signing
  • Maintain accurate customer data and opportunity status within the CRM
  • Represent Wati at industry exhibitions, e-commerce summits, and ecosystem events to prospect new business
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide frontline market feedback and refine positioning

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of B2B SaaS or tech sales experience with hands-on experience driving sales through demos
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot or similar systems
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to manage a sales pipeline independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build sincere, empathetic customer relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to cross-border e-commerce, overseas marketing, or SaaS sectors
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API, Meta’s advertising ecosystem, or omnichannel communication
  • Experience leading industry events or customer roadshows
  • Understanding of the business pain points for Chinese companies expanding into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, or Europe
