Group Tax Senior Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead major international tax projects, including restructurings, acquisitions, divestments, and new market entries
• Provide senior tax input for commercial negotiations and strategic business initiatives
• Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders across finance, legal, HR, and the wider business
• Manage the group’s global corporate tax compliance framework to ensure timely and accurate delivery
• Line manage tax professionals and oversee relationships with external advisers
• Set, evolve, and embed the group’s global transfer pricing policy and documentation
• Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex direct tax matters and emerging risks

Requirements

• ACA, CA, and/or CIOT qualification with significant post-qualification experience
• Strong background in international and corporate tax, including global compliance and complex projects
• Proven experience leading teams or managing offshore and remote resources
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Strong technical skills with the ability to translate complex tax matters into practical business outcomes
• Resilience and commercial judgement to operate effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment
