About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire payment transaction process for the corporate group
- Ensure timely processing of all payments, including payroll, suppliers, service providers, and maritime operational costs
- Administer and monitor all group bank accounts, including opening, closing, and managing signing authorities worldwide
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements regarding payment transactions
- Monitor and optimize payment processes, routes, and bank fees
- Support liquidity management and cash management activities
- Participate in treasury and banking projects, including the implementation of digital payment solutions
- Maintain payment transaction information within the ERP system
Requirements
- Completed commercial training (e.g., Office Management) or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in payment processing, accounts payable, banking, or financial administration
- Sound knowledge of processing both national and international payments
- Experience with electronic banking systems and accounts payable management
- Proficiency in MS Office and common ERP/financial systems
- High level of trustworthiness, discretion, and responsibility when handling sensitive financial data
- Structured, diligent, and independent working style
- Good command of both German and English (written and spoken)
