Group Senior Internal Auditor

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute risk-based internal audit engagements from planning through to reporting
• Conduct annual risk assessment exercises and provide quarterly updates to reflect changing business priorities
• Develop Risk and Control Matrices (RACMs), audit programs, and sampling memos
• Execute testing procedures to identify control deficiencies or design weaknesses
• Prepare high-quality draft audit reports with pragmatic, value-adding recommendations
• Monitor the implementation status of internal audit recommendations and report progress to the Group Head of Internal Audit
• Facilitate kick-off, status update, and exit meetings with operating companies and stakeholders
• Perform routine stock counts at various locations in the UAE to ensure inventory integrity
• Leverage AI and advanced analytics tools to enhance audit procedures and anomaly detection

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
• At least 3 years of experience specifically in internal audits and internal control advisory
• Proven track record in conducting risk-based audits across various business functions
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, such as COSO
• Experience in preparing audit programs, performing control testing, and drafting reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to ERP systems and data analytics tools
• Experience with audit management software
• Proficiency in using AI-driven techniques for control design and operating effectiveness
