Group Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop sales strategy to drive top line revenues for guestrooms and catered events
• Execute proactive group sales and manage guestroom contracts
• Complete the sales process from initial contact through contract signing
• Coordinate and conduct group site tours
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and professional associations
• Act as a liaison with other hotel departments to ensure group and catering needs are met
• Assist in the preparation and proofing of Banquet Event Orders
• Use Delphi to track sales efforts and maintain detailed notes
• Follow up with clients post-event for rebooking opportunities

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel sales with a focus on corporate group sales
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Delphi/Amadeus, HMS, and Property Management Systems
• Ability to travel as needed within the assigned sales region
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
• Proficiency in writing proposals, contracts, and budgets
