Group Reservations Agent

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial touchpoint for room reservations within the group
• Manage communications through extranet platforms including Booking.com, Expedia, Trip.com, and Airbnb
• Handle guest communications across multiple channels such as phone, email, and WhatsApp with a 24-hour response commitment
• Proactively contact guests arriving within 24 hours to confirm reservations and special requests
• Employ sophisticated selling, up-selling, and negotiation techniques to maximize revenue
• Maintain accurate reservation details within the property management system
• Coordinate with the Finance team regarding refunds and credit checks
• Liaise with Front Office teams to communicate VIP arrangements and guest feedback

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a luxury hotel environment
• Proficiency in Opera PMS
• Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Fluent, accent-neutral English (verbal and written)
• Familiarity with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs)
• Knowledge of Genesys or previous call center experience is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with the Dubai market
• Experience in a similar reservations or sales-driven role within hospitality
