Group Manager - Warehouse

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations including receipt, storage, dispensing, and dispatch of materials.
• Manage semi-finished and finished goods inventory while ensuring material handling follows approved SOPs.
• Serve as a Digital SME for SAP (MM/WM modules), Warehouse Management Systems, and ASRS operations.
• Drive digital initiatives, system improvements, automation projects, and data integrity.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, Procurement, and Engineering to ensure seamless material flow.
• Lead and manage warehouse teams through training, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure strict compliance with cGMP, GDP, GLP, and ALCOA documentation principles.
• Support demand-supply alignment and prepare for potential transitions into production or inventory planning roles.

Requirements

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Pharmacy or Science.
• 15+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Deep understanding of Quality, Regulatory, cGMP, and Safety operations.
• Proven experience with SAP MM/WM modules and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Experience conducting investigations and implementing CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and GLP standards.

• Diploma in Materials Management.
• Advanced people management skills and experience leading technological and financial resources.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to grasp complex system concepts and drive continuous improvement.
