Group Manager - HSE and Sustainability

Responsibilities

• Lead PAN India operational and site management for HSE and sustainability/ESG strategies
• Execute Bosch Group HSE and Sustainability Vision and EHS policy across operations
• Evaluate risks related to safety, health, environment, and chemicals, implementing mitigation controls
• Ensure statutory compliance with environmental laws, fire & safety norms, and ISO standards (14001, 45001, 50001)
• Manage critical stakeholders across Engineering, R&D, Logistics, HR, and external regulatory agencies
• Drive incident investigation, root cause analysis, and emergency preparedness
• Oversee energy, water conservation, and waste management initiatives
• Define and drive EHS & Sustainability strategy aligned with business growth and KPIs
• Lead digital EHS transformation through compliance tools and predictive risk analytics
• Manage vendor and contractor EHS performance and multi-site governance

Requirements

• 16+ years of extensive experience in EHS, Sustainability, and Integrated Facilities Management
• BE/B-TECH/ME/M-TECH in Energy, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• Diploma or PG Diploma in Industrial Safety (NEBOSH or equivalent)
• Lead Auditor Certifications (IRCA/CQI certified) for ISO 14001 and 45001
• Experience in large multinational corporate environments

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 50001 (Energy Management) certification
• CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
• IOSH certification
• Experience with digital EHS tools and data-driven decision-making
