Group Manager Geotechnical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the geotechnical group in Umeå (approx. 6 employees)
• Responsible for planning, profitability, business development, quality, and work environment
• Manage employee competence development
• Combine leadership with personal consultancy work, such as project management or technical specialist roles
• Participate in the leadership team for Geotechnical Engineering North

Requirements

• University degree or Civil Engineering degree in Geotechnics, Civil Engineering, Road and Water, or equivalent
• Several years of experience in geotechnical assignments (project management, technical lead, or specialist)
• Proficiency in Swedish and English
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Ability to combine technical expertise with business and leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in personnel management
• Previous experience in business development or leadership roles
