Group Manager Distribution

Responsibilities

• Manage safety, productivity, and quality within a multi-site, high-volume distribution center
• Oversee off-shift operations, including the management of multiple supervisors and hundreds of hourly employees
• Direct inbound operations, picking, outbound operations, and cycle counting
• Develop and manage continuous improvement and cost-savings projects using Lean management tools
• Prepare and analyze reports regarding on-time shipments, fill rates, shipment accuracy, and safety metrics
• Design and improve process flows to meet increasing annual demand and ensure on-time product shipment
• Mentor functional leaders and associates in cultural change leadership and strategy deployment
• Collaborate with senior leadership and support functions to improve overall organizational performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or Production & Operations Management
• 5+ years of experience leading large distribution teams
• Exceptional knowledge of distribution principles, WMS, and Automation Systems
• Strong expertise in Lean principles, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and Problem Solving
• Excellent analytical and logical thinking skills to analyze complex business processes
• Strong organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
