Group Manager - Actuarial Pricing

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end pricing analytics, including data preparation, model development, validation, and impact analysis
• Oversee rate change implementation with robust version control and compliance with governance standards
• Contribute to portfolio monitoring, rate adequacy assessments, and annual rate reviews
• Identify and drive process improvements through the design and implementation of enhanced workflows
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with actuarial and underwriting stakeholders across regions
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior members of the pricing team
• Present clear, well-structured analysis to diverse audiences

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant actuarial work experience within the insurance industry
• Proven experience in General Insurance, specifically within Commercial Lines and Casualty business
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and building predictive models using GLMs and Machine Learning
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Fellow of the Actuaries Institute or an equivalent professional qualification
