About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct and develop assigned personnel
- Monitor production quantities per shift and execute group tasks
- Perform daily operational tasks including area inspections and shift adjustments
- Ensure continuous supply of raw materials for production
- Maintain and improve production efficiency and minimize scrap rates
- Oversee order and cleanliness in the production area
- Coordinate with departments such as Warehouse, Maintenance, EHS, and QC
- Perform administrative duties including attendance tracking and system administration (Maximo, MES)
- Support technological experiments and quality improvement projects (5S)
- Conduct occasional training for EHS, Quality, and new employees
Requirements
- Secondary education (high school diploma, chemical industry specialization is a plus)
- Previous experience in a group leader or equivalent role is an advantage
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of EHS and Quality standards
- Ability to follow regulations and maintain ethical behavior
- Leadership skills including motivation, delegation, and performance management
