Group Leader

Responsibilities

• Organize and direct the production team to meet daily build schedules for specific products or production lines
• Drive daily "Stand Up" meetings and brief cross-functional teams
• Train new hires and monitor performance according to skill sets
• Monitor production lines to ensure uninterrupted workflow and anticipate potential bottlenecks
• Ensure process provides top quality products in accordance with customer specifications
• Manage, coach, and develop talent within the team
• Control, document, and process non-conforming material to MRB
• Optimize labor force with an emphasis on efficiency and reduced overtime
• Coordinate and ensure maintenance schedules are met as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of workmanship standards
• Background in Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lead and motivate employees in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AMLs and Part Metering
