Group Leader, BeOne Institute

Responsibilities

• Drive scientific excellence and delivery by establishing clear program goals and milestones
• Build and develop a high-performing research team, fostering professional growth and scientific independence
• Lead cross-disciplinary and cross-functional collaborations to drive innovation within and beyond the Institute
• Set and execute a forward-looking research strategy aligned with the company mission
• Communicate progress through regular updates while proactively identifying and solving challenges

Requirements

• Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent advanced degree with deep expertise in cancer biology, cancer immunology, immunology, protein engineering, or AI-driven protein design
• Substantial post-degree professional experience in academia or industry
• Proven track record of contributions to drug discovery or impactful scientific achievements
• Experience providing scientific guidance and mentorship in a collaborative team environment
• Strong scientific leadership skills to build and sustain relationships across functional boundaries
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary research environment
