Group Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead team members and coordinate workflow to ensure safe, timely, and accurate merchandise processing and shipping
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all department roles and tasks
• Assign associates to specific job functions based on production needs
• Coach, develop, and train new hires and existing employees on best practices and safety protocols
• Monitor production activities, quality, and safety to provide feedback to the DC Operations Supervisor
• Maintain safe work conditions and ensure 100% compliance with all safety training and communications
• Physically assist the team with material handling and merchandise processing as needed
• Resolve minor processing problems and report production information to management

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Proven leadership experience (with or without direct report responsibility)
• Previous experience in distribution center operations or a warehouse environment
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite, and Kronos Time-keeping Software
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50lbs for the duration of a shift
• Flexibility to work evening shifts (Monday to Thursday, 4:15pm–2:30am)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish
