Group Fitness Instructor

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional, high-quality, safe, and innovative group fitness classes to a diverse membership population.
• Create exciting class programming along with appropriate music playlists to engage participants.
• Attract and retain members by providing outstanding customer service and building personal rapport.
• Maintain minimum class attendance through creative engagement and motivational instruction.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment by managing studio equipment and following safety protocols.
• Represent the Village Standards by interacting positively with employees, members, and guests.

Requirements

• Nationally recognized group fitness certification in an appropriate discipline.
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain through company training within 30 days).
• Proven experience in a health club environment.
• Strong ability to lead fitness classes and convey detailed instructions clearly and loudly.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical activities including frequent standing, walking, stretching, bending, and kneeling.
