Group Exercise Instructor

Responsibilities

• Teach Silver Sneakers Circuit, Classic, Boom Move or Boom Muscle classes
• Maintain primary group exercise and Silver Sneakers certifications
• Ensure classes start and end on time and equipment is stored appropriately
• Share fitness program information with members and build relationships
• Attend all scheduled staff meetings and trainings
• Maintain agreed upon class attendance minimums

Requirements

• Primary group exercise certification
• Current Silver Sneakers certification
• Experience teaching Silver Sneakers classes
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (required within 30 days of hire)
• Ability to pass background, drug, and sex offender checks
