Group Credit Officer (GCO) for Structured and Fund Finance - Senior Director

Responsibilities

• Identify immediate and developing risks that require additional analytical focus
• Challenge credit thinking within analytical groups by offering alternative viewpoints
• Assess rating performance and participate in the criteria development process
• Attend committees and monitor the application of criteria and variations
• Collaborate with analytical, operations, legal, and compliance groups to improve analytical rigor
• Communicate critical credit topics to the analytical group and engage with market participants
• Lead research on important credit themes and facilitate communication across regions
• Work with other Group Credit Officers to address economic issues impacting multiple sectors

Requirements

• 10-15 years of extensive credit experience with a focus on Structured Finance
• Strong background in Commercial Real Estate analysis
• Proven ability to demonstrate independence of thought
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to engage stakeholders with alternative viewpoints in a constructive manner
• Prior experience in a rating environment or criteria development is a strong plus
