Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and outcomes across a defined vertical within Beacon's portfolio
• Directly manage 2-3 portfolio companies as a hands-on PM while building toward a team of 3-5 PMs
• Hire, onboard, and develop PMs within your vertical as the portfolio scales
• Develop and codify cross-portfolio playbooks to turn individual wins into repeatable systems
• Partner with GMs, founders, and operators to set product vision and executable roadmaps
• Drive quarterly and annual planning across your vertical
• Set standards for spec quality, customer discovery, and prioritization rigor
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and GTM teams to scale features across multiple companies
• Contribute to Beacon's broader AI platform by surfacing vertical-specific patterns

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience
• At least 2 years in a formal leadership role or as a co-founder
• Proven ability to lead and develop PMs
• Deep B2B SaaS experience
• Strong systems thinking and pattern recognition
• Ability to influence founders and executives without direct authority
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

• Founding PM experience or early product hire at a high-growth startup
• Experience with private equity, rollups, or building profitable businesses
