Group Account Director, Planning

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client lead, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders and acting as a strategic partner.
• Lead the development and execution of innovative, data-driven media strategies to meet client objectives.
• Oversee cross-channel campaign planning, ensuring alignment with audience insights and market trends.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of account managers and planners.
• Own the financial health of client accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and drive new business initiatives.
• Partner with analytics teams to translate data into actionable insights and maximize ROI.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as an Account Director with a focus on client management and team leadership.
• Minimum 3 years of experience at the Associate Director or Director level.
• University or College degree in Media, Marketing, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• Direct client-servicing experience with a proven ability to manage senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of syndicated tools including DDS, Prisma, DCM, DBM, and Vividata.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills.
