Groundskeeper

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance of the property, including the community office, model, and amenity areas.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as picking up litter, sweeping/blowing breezeways, and cleaning dumpster areas.
• Execute landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, weeding, watering plants, and pruning trees or shrubs.
• Maintain the sprinkler system and use insecticides, fertilizers, or herbicides as needed.
• Assist the maintenance team with make-ready units, pool maintenance, and other property upkeep tasks.
• Ensure landscaping tools and equipment (blowers, pressure washers, etc.) are properly maintained.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written); bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking the property for up to 8 hours in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work on-call, extended hours, weekends, or during emergencies as necessary.
