Groundskeeper

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance of the property, including the community office, model, and amenity areas
• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as picking up litter, sweeping/blowing breezeways, and cleaning dumpster areas
• Manage landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, weeding, watering plants, and maintaining the sprinkler system
• Assist with pool maintenance and the application of fertilizers or herbicides as needed
• Support the maintenance team with cleaning vacant apartments (make-readies) and other tasks as directed
• Ensure all landscaping tools and equipment, such as blowers and pressure washers, are properly maintained

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of full-time related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing, stooping, and walking the property for extended periods
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work on-call, weekends, or extended hours as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills in Spanish
