Groundskeeper

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance of the property, including the community office, model units, and amenity areas
• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as picking up litter, sweeping/blowing breezeways, and cleaning dumpster areas
• Execute landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, weeding, and pruning trees and shrubs
• Manage plant health through watering, reseeding, and the appropriate use of fertilizers and herbicides
• Maintain the sprinkler system and assist with pool maintenance
• Assist the maintenance team with make-ready units, cleaning vacant apartments, and replacing light bulbs
• Support community functions and assist with the distribution of notices

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of full-time related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills (Bilingual in Spanish is a plus)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to work on-call, extended hours, weekends, or during emergencies as needed
