Groundskeeper

Responsibilities

• Maintain University Grounds and residential properties
• Operate mechanized equipment including mowers, tractors, trucks, loaders, and snow plows
• Follow detailed oral and written instructions to ensure high-quality grounds maintenance
• Perform various grounds maintenance tasks to keep the campus safe and beautiful

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and write English
• Two years of experience in a commercial grounds maintenance position
• Experience operating trucks, loaders, large tractors, and other job-related tools
• Proficiency in operating standard transmission vehicles
• Valid driver's license and a low-risk driving record (must be insurable by the University)

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Pesticide License
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with pavers, irrigation, and general landscaping
