Groundskeeper

Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for school grounds as assigned by the Supervisor to ensure operating excellence.
• Perform landscaping duties to produce an attractive appearance on job sites.
• Adjust, repair, and connect grounds care equipment.
• Collect and dispose of leaves and refuse.
• Repair outdoor chairs and benches.
• Comply with all safety and hazardous laws and regulations.
• Work extra-curricular functions outside of regular schedules, including football games, election days, and weekends as requested.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Three years of experience in mowing, trimming, and pruning.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and a clear driving record.
• Ability to operate edgers/trimmers, string trimmers, push mowers, and riding mowers.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, strenuous walking, standing, and climbing.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions, including exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
