Groundskeeper

Responsibilities

• Maintain cemetery grounds and external properties including lawns, gardens, and sidewalks
• Perform general upkeep such as mowing, weeding, pruning, raking, and watering plants
• Manage equipment storage and perform basic maintenance on tools and supplies
• Ensure a clean environment by picking up litter and sweeping sidewalks
• Work in compliance with OH&S Act and Regulations and follow all health and safety policies
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks independently

Requirements

• Up to 1 year of experience in lawn maintenance
• Familiarity with operating lawn equipment and industrial tools
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Standards
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Willingness to obtain a Criminal Police Check and complete required vulnerability assessments
