Groundskeeper

Responsibilities

• Maintain all common areas and grounds in a clean, attractive condition
• Inspect community cleanliness and keep streets/curbs free of debris
• Manage trash removal, including trash chutes and the trash compactor
• Test pool/spa chemical levels and record daily readings
• Maintain pool furniture, decks, and the pump room
• Clean picnic area grills and rake gravel
• Keep breezeways, building entrances, and parking lots neat and clean
• Remove snow and ice during inclement weather
• Assist the Maintenance Manager with various property functions
• Secure all equipment in locked storage at the end of each day

Requirements

• Valid driver's license free from major moving violations
• Dependable transportation
• Ability to use various hand tools and test equipment
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods
• Ability to push and pull up to 300 pounds on wheels
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet in height
