Groundskeeper

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance tasks including pruning, weeding, planting, mowing, watering, and chemical applications
• Provide essential snow removal services to maintain campus safety
• Assist with the setup and take down of special university events
• Operate university equipment and vehicles safely and effectively
• Lead and supervise assigned student crews
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of experience, OR at least 4 years of groundskeeping experience
• Valid driver’s license with a favorable driving record
• Strong reading and writing comprehension skills
• Service-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with snow plowing
• More than one year of professional groundskeeping experience
