Groundskeeper I

Responsibilities

• Maintain university grounds to ensure they remain attractive and well-kept throughout all seasons
• Operate and maintain power equipment, trucks, and light machinery
• Perform landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming, and planting
• Execute seasonal maintenance such as leaf removal and snow clearing
• Work collaboratively with the groundskeeping team to uphold campus beauty and safety

Requirements

• One year of experience in operating machinery and tools used in groundskeeping work, or a combination of related experience and education totaling one year

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mowing and grading
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class B with air brake
• Motor vehicle inspector certification
