Groundskeeper

Responsibilities

• Install and renovate landscaping including turf, trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds
• Maintain, renovate, and repair exterior athletic facilities, parking lots, roads, and pathways
• Perform repairs on fencing and drainage systems
• Remove trash from grounds and empty waste receptacles
• Operate and inspect power equipment daily to ensure safety and proper function
• Provide emergency response to exterior hazardous conditions as needed
• Maintain records of hours, materials used, and vehicle log trip tickets
• Assist with special events, set-ups, and building service functions

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of work experience
• Valid Florida driver's license and ability to operate a standard shift vehicle
• Ability to operate power equipment related to grounds maintenance
• Basic knowledge of horticulture, cement work, and general ground maintenance
• Physical ability to lift/carry equipment, climb ladders, and work in overhead areas
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to follow instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior professional experience in groundskeeping or landscaping
