Grounds Technician

Responsibilities

• Safely operate groundskeeping equipment including zero-turn mowers, weed eaters, backpack blowers, chainsaws, and pole saws
• Apply herbicides and pesticides safely and effectively as needed
• Coordinate with the Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure walkways and outdoor surfaces are safe during inclement weather
• Maintain detailed records of scheduled maintenance procedures
• Assist with general facility repairs and maintenance around the Millsap campus
• Adhere to all OSHA and company-specific health and safety expectations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of professional lawncare experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Knowledge of the safe application of herbicides and pesticides
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
