Grounds and Gardening Specialist

Responsibilities

• Oversee care, maintenance, and aesthetic quality of interior and exterior plants
• Plan, plant, grow, and harvest flowers and vegetables seasonally
• Support greenhouse operations including seed starting and soil preparation
• Track and report on plant health, diagnoses, and replacement recommendations
• Design garden layouts and develop planting schedules
• Coordinate seasonal helpers and volunteers through task delegation and training

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of two years hands-on experience in plant care (indoor and outdoor)
• Proven experience with plant propagation
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions in English
• Ability to speak effectively in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in horticulture
• Master Gardener certification or equivalent training
• Practical knowledge of greenhouse operations and seasonal planting schedules
