Ground Water Modeller

Responsibilities

• Manage complex groundwater projects and components within the environmental and mining sectors
• Construct, calibrate, and process groundwater and contaminant transport models, primarily using MODFLOW and MT3D
• Formulate hydrogeological conceptual and numerical models based on data interpretation
• Develop project-specific data management, analysis, and reporting workflows
• Prepare technical reports, draft plans, metadata, and figures for client deliverables
• Manage and analyze datasets, including mapping and the use of GIS file formats

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in GIS, Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Water Resources, or a related field
• 6 to 8+ years of professional groundwater modeling experience
• Proficiency in MODFLOW and MT3D
• Programming knowledge in VBA, Python, or similar languages
• Experience creating finite difference analysis models
• Strong understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and modeling principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

• Experience working within the environmental consulting industry
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical modeling issues and manage competing priorities
